The Colorado Brewers Guild is hosting their third annual Colorado Craft Brewers Summit Nov. 4 to 5, at Colorado State University, Fort Collins. This is the perfect opportunity to take a break from the everyday to learn and network within the craft brewing community. We’re looking forward to learning as a community, attending a variety of sessions around legal, finance, distribution, and marketing aspects of craft brewing, and networking with people throughout the industry.
1. Strengthen ties with the community
With the craft beer industry continuing to grow (7 percent growth in retail dollar value from 2017 to 2018), it’s important to take time to understand today’s trends and predictions for the future. Craft brewing has a strong sense of community and events like this only further strengthens those ties. As a community, it’s great to opportunity to meet new faces and reunite with old friends.
2. Learn from experts
A variety of industry experts and speakers from many different disciplines will lead this year’s sessions. This makes the summit the perfect place to learn something new in a less familiar field. Whether you’re interested in digital marketing tips, quality assurance analysis, or how to best adapt to recent Colorado employment law changes, there is something interesting and valuable for everyone.
3. Discover new opportunities
The trade show on November 5th is a great place to meet new suppliers, retailers, and specialists throughout the industry. It’s a great chance to network with new and old connections and learn what is available to help you, regardless of your position, business or interest. You may collaborate with a neighboring brewery or receive some advice from a local specialist. You never know who you may meet or what opportunities could open up to you.
