Make your business easier for wineries to work with
Become a certified partner to build trust with wineries and break down compliance roadblocks.
As more and more e-commerce and mobile-based companies enter the market to sell wine online, it’s imperative to have an offering that wineries can not only trust their wine with but also that requires minimal effort for them to engage and participate.
Integrating with ShipCompliant MarketPlace gives your business that competitive edge.
Today, ShipCompliant is the existing compliance solution for thousands of household name and boutique wine brands. An integration with our API gets your business one click away from connecting with those brands. It gives your e-commerce experience a compliant workflow that adheres to the dizzying maze of alcohol regulations across the various states. And it helps you reliably manage your inventory to keep your business moving forward.
How Does It Work?
Step 1: Integrate with our MarketPlace API
Integrating with this simple yet powerful API lays the foundation for success. You’ll get visibility into available products, licensee information, delivery estimates and address validation. Your checkout process will be able to compliantly display licensee info, perform real-time compliance checks based on ship-to address and calculate product and address-level sales taxes.
Note: There is a fee to integrate with the ShipCompliant MarketPlace API. Click here to contact our sales team for details or to get started click below:
Step 2: Connect with suppliers and build your inventory
After integration, you’ll be able to customize your own site within MarketPlace showcasing your unique abilities to reach new customers. ShipCompliant’s large base of winery customers will be able to access the page directly from their accounts and can spark a connection with just a single click. From there, the process to integrate their products within your offering is seamless. Wineries can set up payment information, allocate products and designate their prices within minutes. Fulfillment partners, when integrated, can communicate inventory levels and receive and process orders all through MarketPlace.
Step 3: Sell compliantly with third-party guidelines
As customers place orders on your site, MarketPlace does the heavy lifting. It runs the real-time compliance check, calculates the proper sales tax and verifies the address. Most importantly, it properly represents the winery and seller throughout the buying process and keeps the winery in control of the transaction (notifications and approvals are sent twice a day to the winery before inventory is released). Finally, MarketPlace collects the payment information and disburses funds to the winery, shipper and marketer.
Step 4: Measure key sales and customer service metrics
With MarketPlace, you’ll get access to a host of tools for analyzing orders, payments, sales trends and API logs. We also provide a QoS dashboard that displays estimated ship dates and delivery dates, as well as key fulfillment metrics that you can use in servicing your customers.
