Annual Wine Direct Shipping Compliance Event Triples in Size, Nearing Venue Capacity

July 1, 2008, Napa, CA – Shipping regulations are changing quickly and wineries are looking for up to date information and help in managing compliance. This demand is apparent in the continued growth of the 3rd Annual Direct Shipping Seminar and Users Conference put on by ShipCompliant at the Napa Marriott on July 11th. Industry standard legislative updates from Steve Gross, Director State Relations at Wine Institute as well as an ever-changing panel of experts on diverse compliance topics keep the numbers climbing from 100 attendees two years ago to more than 300 attendees this year.

New Speaker Added: Matthew Botting, Special Counsel for CA Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control

Panelists on the agenda include keynote speaker Tracy Genesen of Kirkland & Ellis, LLP and Legal Director for the Coalition for Free Trade and Counsel to Family Winemakers of California, Steve Gross, Director State Relations at Wine Institute, and Jeremy Benson of Benson Marketing. A recent addition to the panelists, Matthew Botting of the CA Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, will provide insight on direct shipping laws from the ABC perspective.

Event Nearly Sold Out - 300 Attendees Expected
